professionals are the conscience of the company, as well as the keepers of confidential
information. HR professionals need to consider the needs of both employees and
management. Human Resource focuses on staffing and employee relations. HR
professionals take a leadership role and influence management’s strategic path.
The role of Human Resource
manager includes coordinating the hiring process, organizing and conducting New
Employee Orientation, providing HR advice to managers, explaining and
interpreting HR policies and procedures, responding to employees' questions and
concerns. Other major areas of
responsibility include: policy development and administration; legal
compliance; recruitment and employment; compensation; benefits administration;
payroll and HR information systems; performance consulting; training and
development; employee relations; workplace safety; and employee services.
The successful candidate
must possess along with Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management the basic
skills to obtain success in interview. When
interviewing a potential new hire, it’s standard procedure for a Human
Resources professional to assess the candidate as compared to a list of key
skills and personal characteristics needed for the job.
* Interpersonal Skills : Since the HR professionals have to deal with a
diverse range of people effectively, they must possess effective interpersonal
skills to how to deal with
different personalities, traits, values, culture etc.
* Flexibility : The Human
Resource manager had to deal with different situations to get job done, they
must make it possible without increasing stress or creating additional problems.
So Flexibility is the skill required for HR professionals, so that they can
easily adapt
people and situations. Being
adaptable and not allowing interruptions and changes in your planned schedule
to cause you stress will help you succeed as a human resources professional

situations effectively.
* Predictions : Making the best predictions and choosing between the alternatives will determine alternative solutions based on the
situation for the successful Human Resource Manager.
* Presentation skills : The profession of HR is to present themselves very
effectively to making effective presentation for solutions. So the
presentation skills plays significant role in the field of Human Resource to
present best solutions to the

* Writing Skills : Providing solutions in written i.e. communicating with
