Sales is a very precise career field. A sales interview is a high-pressured environment, similar to the environment you will be working in. In sales customer satisfaction is important. A Sales person is supposed to be pull sales not push the sales. The ability to listen is more important than the ability to talk. So instead of overwhelming your clients with words, it is best to encourage them to talk. This way you can pull them to buy and also increase your number of referrals.

Companies specializing in sales like to know about your specific accomplishments and successes, to see what they can expect once they hire you to work for their team during a sales job interview.
Applying for sales positions can be challenging and complicated, hence preparing and knowing how to handle yourself can go a long way toward calming your nerves and successfully getting the job.

Many organizations look for certain aspects beyond your resume when recruiting sales positions such as Sales Personality, Money Motivation, Desire to Succeed and Drive to achieve the sales goals.

How do you prepare for a sale?
What creative ways have you used to meet quotas and deadlines?
How do you feel when not making a sale or meeting a quota?
How do you plan to follow up on your sales?

So practice to answer these questions at least two days before the interview to prevent yourself from fumbling for words at the time of interview.
